MEMORY BOARD
A memory board is an easy and effective way to stimulate memories in the minds of dementia care patients. This collage is a photo frame with various pictures, showing the life of the resident through pictures. By having these collages near them, patients will benefit greatly. Whenever they feel alone, they can look at the collage to see their loved ones and reminisce on happy memories. Constantly seeing their faces on the photos will also help their memory by helping them remember who their family and friends are.
HOW TO MAKE A MEMORY BOARD
Making a picture collage for the residents is simple and fun. First collect pictures from the resident's family and buy a photo frame. Then find a large sheet of paper which fits in the frame in order to make a college. Put all the pictures in and decorate it. Be creative and the residents will really appreciate it!
